Come enjoy a night up the canyon on Friday, September 5th.  Tanner Flats, Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Whether you come up only for the evening, or camp overnight, this should be a good time to mingle, relax, and feel the majesty of the mountain.  Camp set up between 4-5pm, with festivities beginning at 5pm.  Bring your own food and cooking methods.  Feel free to bring something to share.   You will be glad you came. 

The Granite FamilySearch Center is continuing to host youth classes for the 2024 / 2025 school year.  Classes held Sunday 1:30-2:30pm, Wednesday/Thursday 3:00-4:00pm at the Family History Center near Albion Middle School.   See Temple & Family History section for more details.

In advance of the publication for the new global hymnbook, Hymns - For Home and Church, the Church is digitally releasing small groups of new of hymns every few months until the full collection becomes available in print. We invite you to become familiar with the new music as it is released.  Sheet music and audio recordings can be found on the Gospel Library and Sacred Music apps and at music.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

The Draper Temple is looking for additional temple workers. This is a calling you volunteer for and do not have to wait for the bishop to call you. Please contact a member of the bishopric for more information. 

We encourage everyone to maintain a current temple recommend. Please grab one of the bishopric counselors during or after church, or contact Jason Gabler to schedule an interview with the bishop. 

Interviews with the Stake Presidency are usually available: 

• Sundays - 11am-noon in the Stake offices.

• 1st and 3rd Tuesdays - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

• By appointment by scheduling with Scott Slighting (801-560-4449) 

For those wanting a mobile temple rec instead of paper (you can only have one or the other, but not both), you'll need to update your LDS tools picture  which will be used for verification at the temple desk.

Please arrive on your assigned Saturday morning between 8:00am and 8:30am.  If you are unable to make it on your assigned week, we ask that you trade weeks with another family.  When everyone shows up the work goes pretty quickly.
